We’re hiring Quran teachers

Teach the Qur’an. Earn a reward that does not stop.

Live Quran Lessons has taught children online since 2019. Our families are in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Australia, and every lesson is one to one. The work is from home and the hours are yours to tell us. We look for good English first, then a recognised Islamic education.

What we look for

  • Good English and a clear accentOur families are in the UK, the United States, Canada and Australia. You speak easy, clear English to a child and to a parent, in a soft-spoken, patient voice. Your English is the first thing we test.
  • A recognised Islamic educationHafiz, Qari, Alim or Alima, from an institute such as Jamia Ashrafia, Al-Huda, Al-Noor, Wifaq ul Madaris or Darul Quran. Graduates are preferred. Then we listen to your Qirat and Tajweed.
  • Experience teaching childrenYou have taught children before, online or in a madrasa, and you know how to keep a young child learning. Teach from home, anywhere in Pakistan, full-time or part-time.
  • Male and female teachers, bothMany of our families ask for a female teacher, so sisters are especially welcome. Equal work, equal terms, equal pay.
  • Students who stay with youChildren in the UK, the United States, Canada and Australia — Qaida, Tajweed, Hifz, Translation, Islamic Studies and Arabic. A child stays with the same teacher, so you see them move from the first letter to reading properly.
  • Paid on time, and told whyA clear record of every class you teach, and a monthly payment against it. A supervisor is on the class, so parent messages and timings go through the office rather than through you.

Our hiring process

Four steps, and no fee at any point. We never ask an applicant for money.

  1. ApplicationFill in the form below, or message HR on WhatsApp. One message is enough to start.
  2. ScreeningHR reads it and checks what you teach against what we need. You hear back either way.
  3. Demo lessonA live call. First your English, then your Qirat, then a short lesson taught as you would to a child.
  4. Trial class and onboardingOne real class with a supervisor watching, then your own students, your own time, your own link.

Important — please read before applying

The WhatsApp numbers and the email address on the rest of this site are for families asking about classes. An application sent there does not reach the people who do the hiring, and it will be missed.
