What time can my child have?
Canada is nine to twelve hours behind Pakistan, so an after-school lesson in Toronto or Vancouver falls in the small hours for the teacher. Our teachers work through the night for exactly that reason, so your child is taught at a normal hour and nobody is asked to be up late.
Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific are all covered, and weekend mornings are usually the easiest slots to get. The slot then stays the same every week, with the same teacher and one Google Meet link that never changes.
Your slot, in your time and ours
Pakistan is nine to thirteen hours ahead of Canada, depending on your province and the season. It is the fact that decides whether these lessons last a year or six weeks, so here it is in full.

Add an hour to every Pakistani time above once the Canadian clocks go back in November. Calgary, Winnipeg and Halifax sit between Toronto and Vancouver.
The half hour before school
Half past six in the morning sounds like a hard sell until you see what it replaces: a lesson at four in the afternoon, after a full school day, with a teacher in Pakistan doing it at one in the morning.
- The child is fresh. Quran reading before school goes in faster than after it.
- The teacher is at their best, not at the end of a long night.
- Nothing competes for the slot -- no hockey practice, no homework, no younger sibling.
- Thirty minutes, so the school run is not affected.
- Not for every family. Try one trial class at that hour before deciding.
What happens when the clocks change
Canada puts its clocks forward on the second Sunday in March and back on the first Sunday in November, in every province that observes it. Pakistan has never changed its clocks at all.
So twice a year your child's lesson would quietly move by an hour if nobody did anything about it. Plenty of families only notice when the teacher is waiting and the child is still at school.
- We write to you before each clock change, not after it.
- Your slot stays at the same local time for you -- we move it at our end.
- If the new time does not work, you tell us and we find another one. No form, no notice period.
- The Google Meet link does not change. It never changes.

Divide before you compare us with anyone: the CA$54 plan is eight lessons, which is CA$6.75 a lesson. The CA$82 plan is twenty, which is CA$4.10. The bigger plan costs less per lesson, not more.
Winter, distance, and the drive nobody wants
A great many Canadian families live a long way from the nearest masjid, and for four months of the year that drive happens in the dark on bad roads. Weekend Islamic school also puts a whole week's learning into one morning, which is the least efficient way to teach a child to read.

Paying from Canada
The fee is charged monthly in Canadian dollars, for the month ahead. No registration fee, no contract, no minimum term, and no card is taken during the free trial classes.
Card payment goes through Stripe and bank transfer through Wise. If you stop, tell us and we stop: before your regular classes begin you can withdraw for a full refund, and after that we deduct the lessons attended and return the rest.
March break, summer, and the weeks school is out
Classes carry on unless you tell us otherwise. March break and the summer are when many Canadian families add a lesson rather than drop one, because the school-night rush is gone.
If you are travelling, say so and we pause rather than charge you for lessons nobody will attend; any unused balance carries into the next month. Ramadan times move the same way, through your family WhatsApp group.
Who is in the room with your child
Nobody is ever alone with your child. A supervisor joins the call about two minutes before the teacher does, and stays until the lesson ends.

Many of our families do. Weekend school gives your child a community an online class cannot, and weekday one-to-one lessons move the reading along faster than one long group morning. Using both is a reasonable way to use us.
What makes your online Quran academy different?
Your child keeps the same qualified teacher every week, at the same time. Every class is one-to-one. After each class the teacher writes a note: what was covered and what to practise.
Are these live Quran classes or recorded lessons?
Live, always. Every class is a live lesson on video with your child's teacher. We never send recordings in place of live lessons.
What will my child learn in online Quran classes?
Beginners start with the Noorani Qaida. From there it is Quran recitation with Tajweed, and after that Hifz, translation or Tafseer, depending on what a family wants. Alongside the Quran your child learns Islamic Studies. Families on 5 days a week keep Friday as Islamic Day, which revises that week's Islamic Studies and adds one new lesson.
Are your online Quran teachers qualified?
Yes, and it is checked before anyone teaches a child. Every teacher holds a qualification from a recognized Islamic institution, and several hold professional degrees as well. Nobody is given a student on an application alone. There is an interview, a document check, training, and a live demo class we sit in on. The academy page sets out each stage.
Who is watching my child's Quran class?
The teacher leads every class, and you can watch too. Every lesson runs on one link that never changes, and you can join any class without telling us first.
How do I schedule my child's Quran class?
Send us your WhatsApp number on the form, or message us on WhatsApp. We ask for the times that suit you. We then place your child with a teacher who is free at that time. We reply on WhatsApp within 24 hours, and usually within hours.
Can we try the online Quran classes before enrolling?
Yes. Take up to 3 free trial classes first. Use them to check the teacher, the timing, and how your child responds before paying anything.
Can parents sit in on the Quran class?
Yes. You are welcome to watch any lesson, without asking first.
What am I committing to, and what if we want to stop?
There is no contract and no minimum term. Fees are monthly, and you pay for the month ahead. If you want to stop, tell us and we will stop. If you need a break instead, any unused balance carries to the next month. Before your regular classes begin, you can withdraw and get a full refund.
How do we stay in touch once classes start?
Through a WhatsApp group we open for your family after the trial classes. It has you and our academy team in it. Use it to move a class, ask for a different teacher, or raise anything at all. We try to settle it before the next class.
What do you do with my WhatsApp number?
Arranging your trial class is the only thing we use it for, and we never pass it on to anybody. Once classes start it is the number in your family WhatsApp group.
