What time can my child have?
After school, most often. Pakistan is four to five hours ahead of the UK, so a 5pm lesson in Birmingham is a late evening one for the teacher, and that is when most of our teachers are working. Early morning before school is open too.
The slot stays the same every week. Your child has one teacher, at one time, on one Google Meet link that never changes, so nobody has to look for anything on a Tuesday evening.
Tell us the two or three windows that work in your week and we will tell you what is actually open in them. We will not promise a time we cannot staff.
Your slot, in your time and ours
Pakistan is four hours ahead of the UK in summer and five in winter. So an after-school lesson in Britain falls in a Pakistani teacher's evening -- late for them, never impossible, and it is the reason our UK slots are real rather than theoretical.

In winter, when the UK is on GMT, add an hour to every Pakistani time above. We do not book a child into a slot where the teacher is tired -- if the only time that suits you is late, we will tell you so rather than take the booking and let the lessons drift.
What happens when the clocks change
The UK puts its clocks forward on the last Sunday in March and back on the last Sunday in October. Pakistan has never changed its clocks at all.
So twice a year your child's lesson would quietly move by an hour if nobody did anything about it. Plenty of families only notice when the teacher is waiting and the child is still at school.
- We write to you before each clock change, not after it.
- Your slot stays at the same local time for you -- we move it at our end.
- If the new time does not work, you tell us and we find another one. No form, no notice period.
- The Google Meet link does not change. It never changes.

Worth doing the sum before you compare us with anyone: divide the monthly fee by the number of lessons in it. Our £32 plan is eight lessons, which is £4 a lesson. Our £48 plan is twenty, which is £2.40.
How this differs from the madrassah down the road
Most British Muslim families have a local option, and for many it works well. Where it does not, it is usually one of three things: a class of twenty where a quiet child is never heard, a drive at the worst hour of the day, or a timetable that does not survive a busy term.
- One to one. Never a group, never a recording, so nobody is waiting a turn.
- No journey. The lesson starts at home, on the same link every week.
- A supervisor is on every class, and all of our supervisors are women.
- Male and female teachers, and you choose which.
- Taught in English, or in Urdu if that is easier for your child.
- The academy teaches children, not adults.
It is not a replacement for a community, and we would not claim it is. It is a way for a child to be heard for thirty minutes, four times a week, by a teacher who knows exactly where they stopped last time.
What happens in half term and the holidays
Classes carry on unless you tell us otherwise, which suits families who find the holidays are when there is finally time. If you are travelling, say so and we will pause rather than charge you for lessons nobody will attend — any unused balance carries into the next month.
Ramadan times can be moved as well. Tell us in your family WhatsApp group and the slot changes.
Paying from the UK
The fee is charged monthly in pounds, for the month ahead. No registration fee, no contract, no minimum term, and no card is taken during the free trial classes.
Card payment goes through Stripe and bank transfer through Wise. If you stop, tell us and we stop: before your regular classes begin you can withdraw for a full refund, and after that we deduct the lessons attended and return the rest.
Who is in the room with your child
British parents are used to a check standing behind anyone who works with their child. Ours is not a police check, because we are not a UK employer and cannot hold one. It is supervision you can watch, on every single lesson.

- No teacher is given a student until their certificates and references have been checked.
Hifz, and what it asks of a family
Hifz is the thing British families ask about most and the thing we are slowest to agree to. Not because it is hard to teach -- because it is hard to keep, and most of the keeping happens at home rather than in the lesson.
Memorising a page takes one sitting. Keeping it takes a visit every few days for months, then every few weeks for years. An academy that enrols a child without saying this is selling the easy half.
- Reading comes first. A child still decoding will memorise from the teacher's voice, not the page, and cannot revise alone later.
- The right daily portion is the largest the child can still recite correctly a week later -- not the largest they manage today.
- Revision happens every day, including days with no lesson. This is most of the work.
- Term time is the test, not the holidays. A plan that only survives August is not a plan.
- We do not publish a completion date, and we would be wary of anyone who does.
If your child is not ready we will say so after the trial and suggest reading and Tajweed first. A child who starts hifz a year early usually stops within a year, and starting again is harder than starting late.

What time are online Quran classes available in the UK?
Most UK families take an after-school slot between about 4pm and 8pm, which is late evening for teachers in Pakistan and the busiest part of our day. Early morning before school is also available. Tell us the windows that work in your week and we will tell you what is open in them.
How much are online Quran classes in the UK?
From £32 a month for two lessons a week to £48 a month for five, each lesson 30 minutes and one to one. Hifz lessons are longer and cost £73 or £84 a month. There is no registration fee, no contract and no minimum term, and nothing is charged during the free trial classes.
Is my child safe in an online Quran class?

Do the classes follow the UK school year?
They do not stop for half term unless you ask. Many families find the holidays are when there is finally time for an extra lesson. If you are away, tell us and we will pause rather than charge you.
What makes your online Quran academy different?
Your child keeps the same qualified teacher every week, at the same time. Every class is one-to-one. After each class the teacher writes a note: what was covered and what to practise.
Are these live Quran classes or recorded lessons?
Live, always. Every class is a live lesson on video with your child's teacher. We never send recordings in place of live lessons.
What will my child learn in online Quran classes?
Beginners start with the Noorani Qaida. From there it is Quran recitation with Tajweed, and after that Hifz, translation or Tafseer, depending on what a family wants. Alongside the Quran your child learns Islamic Studies. Families on 5 days a week keep Friday as Islamic Day, which revises that week's Islamic Studies and adds one new lesson.
Are your online Quran teachers qualified?
Yes, and it is checked before anyone teaches a child. Every teacher holds a qualification from a recognized Islamic institution, and several hold professional degrees as well. Nobody is given a student on an application alone. There is an interview, a document check, training, and a live demo class we sit in on. The academy page sets out each stage.
Who is watching my child's Quran class?
The teacher leads every class, and you can watch too. Every lesson runs on one link that never changes, and you can join any class without telling us first.
How do I schedule my child's Quran class?
Send us your WhatsApp number on the form, or message us on WhatsApp. We ask for the times that suit you. We then place your child with a teacher who is free at that time. We reply on WhatsApp within 24 hours, and usually within hours.
Can we try the online Quran classes before enrolling?
Yes. Take up to 3 free trial classes first. Use them to check the teacher, the timing, and how your child responds before paying anything.
Can parents sit in on the Quran class?
Yes. You are welcome to watch any lesson, without asking first.
What am I committing to, and what if we want to stop?
There is no contract and no minimum term. Fees are monthly, and you pay for the month ahead. If you want to stop, tell us and we will stop. If you need a break instead, any unused balance carries to the next month. Before your regular classes begin, you can withdraw and get a full refund.
How do we stay in touch once classes start?
Through a WhatsApp group we open for your family after the trial classes. It has you and our academy team in it. Use it to move a class, ask for a different teacher, or raise anything at all. We try to settle it before the next class.
What do you do with my WhatsApp number?
Arranging your trial class is the only thing we use it for, and we never pass it on to anybody. Once classes start it is the number in your family WhatsApp group.
