Who will be teaching your child
Every teacher at Live Quran Lessons holds a qualification from a recognized Islamic institution. We have been teaching children online since 2019, and each teacher is checked before taking a class, then trained in how we teach children.
- Qualified in Quran recitation and Tajweed, and checked before they take a class
- Certificates and references verified, then trained in how we teach children
- Fluent English, and Urdu where a family would rather have it
- A supervisor is on every class, so no teacher works unwatched
What a lesson actually looks like
A parent who has never sat through an online Quran class pictures a video being played at a child. It is a live call. Your child is on a laptop or a tablet, the teacher is on the screen, the page is shared between them, and your child reads aloud for most of the half hour.
- A laptop, tablet or phone with a camera, and an internet connection
- Google Meet, which opens in the browser. Nothing is installed
- The teacher shares the Qaida or Mushaf page, so you both see what is being read
- You can sit in on any class, at any time, without telling us first

Male and female teachers are both available
How we match a teacher to your child
You tell us what you want
Tell us the days and times that suit you, and what your child can read now. If they have never read a letter, say so.
We match a teacher to your child
The first class is a level check. The teacher listens, finds where your child actually is, and tells you plainly.
Watch, then decide
Up to 3 free classes before anything is paid. If the pairing is wrong, tell us and we will arrange a different teacher.
Every class has a supervisor
A supervisor is on every class, and all our supervisors are female. She joins the link about 2 minutes before the teacher and your child, then listens in. She is watching the quality of the class, not your child's recitation. If the sound or screen fails, or the teacher is not attentive, she steps in. Correcting the recitation is the teacher's job.
After the trial classes we open a WhatsApp group for your family, with your child's supervisor, the coordinator and the academy manager in it. Anything you raise there we try to settle before the next class.

What a Quran teacher costs
One teacher, one child, every class. We bill in US dollars (USD), pounds (GBP), Canadian dollars (CAD), Australian dollars (AUD), dirhams (AED), euros (EUR) and New Zealand dollars (NZD) — your own currency, not a figure converted at checkout. The table below is already in yours.

FAQ
The questions parents ask us most, answered.
Are your online Quran teachers qualified?
Yes. Every teacher holds a qualification from a recognized Islamic institution. Before anyone teaches a child we check their certificates and references, train them in how we teach, and watch a live demo class.
Do you have female Quran teachers?
Yes. We have both male and female teachers, and every one of them holds a qualification from a recognized Islamic institution. Tell us what suits your family when you book the trial class.
What if my child and the teacher are not a good match?
Tell us and we will arrange a different teacher. There is no charge and no argument about it. After the trial classes you also have a WhatsApp group with the supervisor, the coordinator and the academy manager in it, so you do not have to chase anyone.
Does my child need anything special for an online Quran class?
A laptop, tablet or phone with a camera, and an internet connection. Classes run on Google Meet, so there is nothing to install. Headphones help but are not required.
Can I sit in on the class?
Whenever you like, and you do not need to tell us first. Parents sit in all the time.
How much does an online Quran teacher cost?
It depends on how many days a week your child reads. The table on this page shows every plan, and there is no minimum term.
What makes your online Quran academy different?
Your child keeps the same qualified teacher every week, at the same time. Every class is one-to-one. After each class the teacher writes a note: what was covered and what to practise.
Are these live Quran classes or recorded lessons?
Live, always. Every class is a live lesson on video with your child's teacher. We never send recordings in place of live lessons.
What will my child learn in online Quran classes?
Beginners start with the Noorani Qaida. From there it is Quran recitation with Tajweed, and after that Hifz, translation or Tafseer, depending on what a family wants. Alongside the Quran your child learns Islamic Studies. Families on 5 days a week keep Friday as Islamic Day, which revises that week's Islamic Studies and adds one new lesson.
Who is watching my child's Quran class?
The teacher leads every class, and you can watch too. Every lesson runs on one link that never changes, and you can join any class without telling us first.
How do I schedule my child's Quran class?
Send us your WhatsApp number on the form, or message us on WhatsApp. We ask for the times that suit you. We then place your child with a teacher who is free at that time. We reply on WhatsApp within 24 hours, and usually within hours.
Can we try the online Quran classes before enrolling?
Yes. Take up to 3 free trial classes first. Use them to check the teacher, the timing, and how your child responds before paying anything.
Can parents sit in on the Quran class?
Yes. You are welcome to watch any lesson, without asking first.
What am I committing to, and what if we want to stop?
There is no contract and no minimum term. Fees are monthly, and you pay for the month ahead. If you want to stop, tell us and we will stop. If you need a break instead, any unused balance carries to the next month. Before your regular classes begin, you can withdraw and get a full refund.
How do we stay in touch once classes start?
Through a WhatsApp group we open for your family after the trial classes. It has you and our academy team in it. Use it to move a class, ask for a different teacher, or raise anything at all. We try to settle it before the next class.
What do you do with my WhatsApp number?
Arranging your trial class is the only thing we use it for, and we never pass it on to anybody. Once classes start it is the number in your family WhatsApp group.
Is my child safe in an online Quran class?
You are welcome to watch any lesson yourself, without asking first, and a supervisor is listening in on every class. No teacher is given a student until we have checked their certificates and references. We then train them in how we teach, and sit in on a live demo class before they start.
How much do online Quran classes for kids cost?
Live Quran Lessons charges monthly, per child, by the days a week your child attends. 1 day a week is $37, 2 days $39, 3 days $49, 4 days $59, and 5 days $65. Each lesson is 30 minutes, 1-to-1.
