Online Quran Classes in Manchester

Give your child the chance to learn the Quran at home, with one-to-one online Quran classes in Manchester. Qualified male and female teachers take children step by step, from Noorani Qaida and Quran reading through to Tajweed and Hifz.
A qualified teacher, your child at the kitchen table, and a live half hour between them. One child and one teacher, never a group, with the page shared on screen so you can see exactly what is being read. Start your free trial today and watch a real lesson before enrolling.

Six courses, and your child can take one or move through them in order. The teacher finds where they actually are in the first class and starts there, whether that is the very first letter or a Juz they are halfway through.
Select the option that best describes your child's current level.
Calm, one to one, and nothing hidden. This is what the half hour looks like, what reaches you afterwards, and how the first class is booked.
Your child learns one to one with the same teacher every week, on a Google Meet link that never changes. A supervisor from the academy is on every class, and all of our supervisors are women. You can join any class yourself, without telling us first.
Not a vague “doing fine” once a month. A note follows every class: which lesson your child is on, how it went, and the five minutes of practice that would help before the next one.
Send one message and we answer with the hours that are free. After the trial classes you have a family group with your child’ supervisor, the coordinator and the academy manager in it, and everything is settled there from then on.
Greater Manchester is ten boroughs, and the class somebody recommends is usually in one of the other nine. A family in Sale, Didsbury or Stockport ends up driving to Cheetham Hill or Longsight — and at five o'clock that drive can be longer than the lesson at the end of it.

Plenty of Manchester parents are still on the way home when the lesson starts. Nothing below depends on you being at the table — and every line of it you can check yourself on a day you are.

A lesson booked before Maghrib in December is a different hour from one booked before Maghrib in June, and in Manchester the gap between them is several hours. These are the four corners of the year, so you can see what a slot has to live with before you choose one.
Ramadan 1448 is expected to begin on or about 8 February 2027. In Manchester the fast is expected to open at about 5:05pm on 8 February and about 6:00pm on 8 March, so the evening moves across the month. Families usually move the lesson before Ramadan begins rather than in the first few days: tell the teacher in your family group and the slot is moved for the month, then moved again for Eid.
UK clocks went back on Sunday 25 October 2026 and go forward again on Sunday 28 March 2027. Your lesson stays at the same Manchester time either way, so nothing moves on your side.
Sunset times are calculated for Manchester and rounded to five minutes. Ramadan is set by sighting, so the start date is given as expected.
Our United Kingdom page covers what is the same for every British family — the fees in pounds, how a week runs, the free trial. This page covers what is only true of Manchester.
The national picture: fees in pounds, lesson times, and how a week runs.
The other big northern-city choice, where what to weigh is the number of classes, not the distance.
One-to-one, live, the same teacher each week — wherever you are.

Book a Free Trial ClassThere are, and some of them are very good — Cheetham Hill, Longsight and Rusholme especially. The question is usually not whether a class exists but whether it is in your own borough at a time you can make. Many families keep their local class for the weekend and add the midweek reading with us.
Not at all. The lesson arrives over the internet, so Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport and Trafford are all the same distance from your teacher. That is the whole point of it.
When your child can sit still for half an hour and repeat a sound back. That is readiness rather than age, and a free trial class will tell you more in thirty minutes than any rule will.
No. Lessons are taught in English, and the Arabic is taught as reading rather than as a spoken language — the letters first, then the sounds, then the words. Your child does not need a word of spoken Arabic to begin, and you do not need to read it yourself for them to get on.
Yes. We ask that a child reads reasonably fluently before starting Hifz, which usually means Noorani Qaida and some Tajweed behind them. Hifz lessons are 45 minutes or an hour, because the revision matters as much as the new lines.
You can join any lesson unannounced on the same Meet link, every lesson is 1-to-1, and nothing is recorded. Teachers' certificates and references are checked before they are given a student, and a supervisor joins each class. Our child safety page sets out the detail.
Your child keeps the same qualified teacher every week, at the same time. Every class is one-to-one. After each class the teacher writes a note: what was covered and what to practise.
Live, always. Every class is a live lesson on video with your child's teacher. We never send recordings in place of live lessons.
Beginners start with the Noorani Qaida. From there it is Quran recitation with Tajweed, and after that Hifz, translation or Tafseer, depending on what a family wants. Alongside the Quran your child learns Islamic Studies. Families on 5 days a week keep Friday as Islamic Day, which revises that week's Islamic Studies and adds one new lesson.
Yes, and it is checked before anyone teaches a child. Every teacher holds a qualification from a recognized Islamic institution, and several hold professional degrees as well. Nobody is given a student on an application alone. There is an interview, a document check, training, and a live demo class we sit in on. The academy page sets out each stage.
The teacher leads every class, and you can watch too. Every lesson runs on one link that never changes, and you can join any class without telling us first.
Send us your WhatsApp number on the form, or message us on WhatsApp. We ask for the times that suit you. We then place your child with a teacher who is free at that time. We reply on WhatsApp within 24 hours, and usually within hours.
Yes. Take up to 3 free trial classes first. Use them to check the teacher, the timing, and how your child responds before paying anything.
Yes. You are welcome to watch any lesson, without asking first.
There is no contract and no minimum term. Fees are monthly, and you pay for the month ahead. If you want to stop, tell us and we will stop. If you need a break instead, any unused balance carries to the next month. Before your regular classes begin, you can withdraw and get a full refund.
Through a WhatsApp group we open for your family after the trial classes. It has you and our academy team in it. Use it to move a class, ask for a different teacher, or raise anything at all. We try to settle it before the next class.
Arranging your trial class is the only thing we use it for, and we never pass it on to anybody. Once classes start it is the number in your family WhatsApp group.
You are welcome to watch any lesson yourself, without asking first, and a supervisor is listening in on every class. No teacher is given a student until we have checked their certificates and references. We then train them in how we teach, and sit in on a live demo class before they start.
