Noorani Qaida
The Arabic letters, their sounds and how they join. Where a child who has never read Arabic begins.
Online Quran Classes in Milton
Live 1-to-1 lessons at home with a male or female teacher, alongside whatever your family already does locally. Start with up to 3 free trial classes.
Live Quran Lessons teaches Milton children online, 1-to-1, from the Arabic alphabet to Tajweed and Hifz. Lessons run after school on Milton time with a male or female teacher. The first 3 classes are free, and most Milton families use us alongside a local school rather than instead of one.

Six courses, and your child can take one or move through them in order. The teacher finds where they actually are in the first class and starts there, whether that is the very first letter or a Juz they are halfway through.
Select the option that best describes your child's current level.
Calm, one to one, and nothing hidden. This is what the half hour looks like, what reaches you afterwards, and how the first class is booked.
Your child learns one to one with the same teacher every week, on a Google Meet link that never changes. A supervisor from the academy is on every class, and all of our supervisors are women. You can join any class yourself, without telling us first.
Not a vague “doing fine” once a month. A note follows every class: which lesson your child is on, how it went, and the five minutes of practice that would help before the next one.
Send one message and we answer with the hours that are free. After the trial classes you have a family group with your child’ supervisor, the coordinator and the academy manager in it, and everything is settled there from then on.
Milton is not a town where Islamic education is hard to find. It has grown quickly, the community has grown with it, and there are now weekend schools and evening programmes that are genuinely well run. If you search for Quran classes in Milton you will see them, and you should look at them.

Milton families often use a local institute and online classes together, which is a sensible arrangement and worth reading about properly.
Times across the provinces, and fees in Canadian dollars.
For the families who would otherwise be driving half an hour each way.
Lessons at home, with no winter journey at the end of a school day.

Book a Free Trial ClassOnce they can sit for half an hour and repeat a sound back. If your child is already at a weekend school, their teacher there will usually tell you when extra reading time would help.
Noorani Qaida takes most children 4 to 8 months at 3 or 4 lessons a week. Children who also attend locally tend to move faster, because the weekend class keeps the habit and the midweek lesson does the correcting.
Yes, and this is the part a group class struggles with. One to one, the teacher hears every letter and stops at the mistake rather than at the end of the page. Your child reads from your own Mushaf.
Yes. A child should read fluently first, which normally means Qaida and some Tajweed behind them. Hifz needs daily listening, which is exactly what a weekend-only programme cannot give, so this is the most common reason Milton families come to us.
You can join any class unannounced, lessons are 1-to-1, and nothing is recorded. Teachers' certificates and references are checked before they teach. Our child safety page sets it out properly.
Yes, and Milton's local options are better than its size suggests. We are not asking you to leave them. Most families here use us for the midweek reading and keep their weekend school for everything else.
Your child keeps the same qualified teacher every week, at the same time. Every class is one-to-one. After each class the teacher writes a note: what was covered and what to practise.
Live, always. Every class is a live lesson on video with your child's teacher. We never send recordings in place of live lessons.
Beginners start with the Noorani Qaida. From there it is Quran recitation with Tajweed, and after that Hifz, translation or Tafseer, depending on what a family wants. Alongside the Quran your child learns Islamic Studies. Families on 5 days a week keep Friday as Islamic Day, which revises that week's Islamic Studies and adds one new lesson.
Yes, and it is checked before anyone teaches a child. Every teacher holds a qualification from a recognized Islamic institution, and several hold professional degrees as well. Nobody is given a student on an application alone. There is an interview, a document check, training, and a live demo class we sit in on. The academy page sets out each stage.
The teacher leads every class, and you can watch too. Every lesson runs on one link that never changes, and you can join any class without telling us first.
Send us your WhatsApp number on the form, or message us on WhatsApp. We ask for the times that suit you. We then place your child with a teacher who is free at that time. We reply on WhatsApp within 24 hours, and usually within hours.
Yes. Take up to 3 free trial classes first. Use them to check the teacher, the timing, and how your child responds before paying anything.
Yes. You are welcome to watch any lesson, without asking first.
There is no contract and no minimum term. Fees are monthly, and you pay for the month ahead. If you want to stop, tell us and we will stop. If you need a break instead, any unused balance carries to the next month. Before your regular classes begin, you can withdraw and get a full refund.
Through a WhatsApp group we open for your family after the trial classes. It has you and our academy team in it. Use it to move a class, ask for a different teacher, or raise anything at all. We try to settle it before the next class.
Arranging your trial class is the only thing we use it for, and we never pass it on to anybody. Once classes start it is the number in your family WhatsApp group.
You are welcome to watch any lesson yourself, without asking first, and a supervisor is listening in on every class. No teacher is given a student until we have checked their certificates and references. We then train them in how we teach, and sit in on a live demo class before they start.
