Live 1-to-1 lessons at your own table, with a male or female teacher and a supervisor on every class. Nothing is canceled for weather. Start with up to 3 free trial classes.
Give your child the chance to learn the Quran at home, with one-to-one online Quran classes in Chicago. Qualified male and female teachers take children step by step, from Noorani Qaida and Quran reading through to Tajweed and Hifz.
Chicago has four months a year when the evening class is really a question about the roads. The lesson here is half an hour at your own table, in December as in June, and it does not get canceled for snow. Start your free trial today and watch a real lesson before you enroll.

Six courses, and your child can take one or move through them in order. The teacher finds where they actually are in the first class and starts there, whether that is the very first letter or a Juz they are halfway through.
Select the option that best describes your child's current level.
Calm, one to one, and nothing hidden. This is what the half hour looks like, what reaches you afterwards, and how the first class is booked.
Your child learns one to one with the same teacher every week, on a Google Meet link that never changes. A supervisor from the academy is on every class, and all of our supervisors are women. You can join any class yourself, without telling us first.
Not a vague “doing fine” once a month. A note follows every class: which lesson your child is on, how it went, and the five minutes of practice that would help before the next one.
Send one message and we answer with the hours that are free. After the trial classes you have a family group with your child’ supervisor, the coordinator and the academy manager in it, and everything is settled there from then on.
Chicago's weekend schools are among the best in the country, and a child who has friends at one should keep going. But a Sunday morning comes round once a week, and reading is a thing a child loses between Sundays. Many families keep the weekend school and add two or three short lessons in between.

In January it is dark before five, and in a lot of Chicago houses that is the hour before anybody is home. Nothing below depends on you being at the table — and every line of it you can check yourself on a day you are.

Book a Free Trial ClassNo, and we would not suggest it. The weekend school gives a child other children, a routine and a teacher in the room; what it cannot give is thirty minutes of reading aloud to one adult, three times a week. Many families keep both, and treat the online lessons as the reading practice.
Nothing. The lesson is at your table and it runs. Over a Chicago winter that is several classes a family would otherwise have lost, and by March it is the difference between a child who has carried on and one who has to go back a few pages.
There are, and some are excellent — Bridgeview, Villa Park and Devon Avenue especially. What is different here is that it runs every week of the winter, and your child reads for the whole half hour instead of waiting a turn. Plenty of families do both.
No. Everything around the reading is said in English. The Arabic itself is taught the way reading is taught anywhere — one letter, then its sound, then the sound beside another — and a child who speaks only English is on exactly the same footing on day one.
Yes. We ask that a child reads reasonably fluently before starting Hifz, which usually means Noorani Qaida and some Tajweed behind them. Hifz lessons are 45 minutes or an hour, because the revision matters as much as the new lines.
You can join any lesson unannounced on the same Meet link, every lesson is 1-to-1, and nothing is recorded. Teachers' certificates and references are checked before they are given a student, and a supervisor joins each class. Our child safety page sets out the detail.
Your child keeps the same qualified teacher every week, at the same time. Every class is one-to-one. After each class the teacher writes a note: what was covered and what to practise.
Live, always. Every class is a live lesson on video with your child's teacher. We never send recordings in place of live lessons.
Beginners start with the Noorani Qaida. From there it is Quran recitation with Tajweed, and after that Hifz, translation or Tafseer, depending on what a family wants. Alongside the Quran your child learns Islamic Studies. Families on 5 days a week keep Friday as Islamic Day, which revises that week's Islamic Studies and adds one new lesson.
Yes, and it is checked before anyone teaches a child. Every teacher holds a qualification from a recognized Islamic institution, and several hold professional degrees as well. Nobody is given a student on an application alone. There is an interview, a document check, training, and a live demo class we sit in on. The academy page sets out each stage.
The teacher leads every class, and you can watch too. Every lesson runs on one link that never changes, and you can join any class without telling us first.
Send us your WhatsApp number on the form, or message us on WhatsApp. We ask for the times that suit you. We then place your child with a teacher who is free at that time. We reply on WhatsApp within 24 hours, and usually within hours.
Yes. Take up to 3 free trial classes first. Use them to check the teacher, the timing, and how your child responds before paying anything.
Yes. You are welcome to watch any lesson, without asking first.
There is no contract and no minimum term. Fees are monthly, and you pay for the month ahead. If you want to stop, tell us and we will stop. If you need a break instead, any unused balance carries to the next month. Before your regular classes begin, you can withdraw and get a full refund.
Through a WhatsApp group we open for your family after the trial classes. It has you and our academy team in it. Use it to move a class, ask for a different teacher, or raise anything at all. We try to settle it before the next class.
Arranging your trial class is the only thing we use it for, and we never pass it on to anybody. Once classes start it is the number in your family WhatsApp group.
You are welcome to watch any lesson yourself, without asking first, and a supervisor is listening in on every class. No teacher is given a student until we have checked their certificates and references. We then train them in how we teach, and sit in on a live demo class before they start.
